In August 2003, an organization was born with a very clear goal: to provide arts education programs to public school students, free of charge and taught by real, working artists. This organization is Art4Now.

Spearheaded by a volunteer infrastructure made up of educators, community and government leaders and business owners, Art4Now works behind the scenes to raise money for future artists of the world. We truly believe that an education that includes art, unites educators, artists, the community and art aficionados is paramount to making a difference in the world and shaping the future.

With the help of Art4Now's Board President, Ken Riel, and other like-minded individuals devoted to enriching the lives of children through the arts, Art4Now created the Art4Now Foundation. This year we have awarded our our first scholarship, and we plan on awarding more than $25,000 in scholarships next summer.

Pablo Picasso once said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once they grow up." At Art4Now, we believe that every child has the capacity to become an artist. Without exposure and education, though, our children cannot identify and nurture the artist within.

As we prepare our aggressive fundraising campaign, we look forward to partnering with you to ensure that we continue to help children discover their inner-artist.
